Saturday, April 30, 2011. Porter Runs A Marathon . . . For the past 2-1/2 months, Porter has run a couple miles per week after school. With the Marathon Club (totaling 25.2 miles),. And today, he ran the last mile of the OC Marathon. Which is to be held tomorrow). Bringing his total to 26.2 miles! Abbie helps Porter get his bib and timing chip on. In his jammies, winter coat . . . and wait, no flip flops? Well, he was in a really big hurry to hold some before it melted. Duh. Can you blame him?

Tuesday, December 29, 2009. When Gavin and Collin were about 18 months, they loved a clock that my Grandma Marilyn has at her house beacuse she would push a button and it would play music. Grandma would sing " la la la." as the clock played it's beautiful music. The boys started to then call her Lala, something which has continued on though all of my boys. Each time the fairy wand plays its beautiful music, the kids run to watch it and even Hendrix says lala as he runs to see it. Monday, December 28, 2009.

Tuesday, October 26, 2010. I am an Aunt! Jenna and Curtis Welcomed their first Baby, Miss. Brooklynn Eileen Duty on October 20th! Ashley and I flew to Utah and were able to spend a few days with them in the Hospital. I cried when I first saw her! It has always been Me having the babys so it is really fun to be an Aunt! We went on many walks around the hospital! Mimis first Grand Daughter! Mom with her reading glasses, yep. those are lights on there! I just want to squeeze her! Friday, October 15, 2010.

If There's One Thing I've Learned. Random thoughts and posts to keep our family and friends updated on our lives. Monday, August 09, 2010. Everyone looks forward to the first day of school. We had a big day today! Ty's first day of kindergarten, Conner's first day of junior high, as well as Preston going into 4th grade, and Madison starting her sophomore year in HS. The day started out well. That was a happy sound! 6 hours later, he reported that he had a good day "but it wasn't THAT fun.".
