Then we're off on a 2300 mile trek across the mid-west and southeastern parts of the country. (400 miles of which will include the cat.) Yesterday, I submitted the final paperwork for the dissertation. Once I pay the $96 dollars to deposit, it will be officially done. Finally. Stick around.something new is coming. Later in the play, a German officer gets hold of the main character- a horse called Joey- and saves him. Where another officer would have that horse charge senselessly into another barrage of machine gun fire, this. It's the moment when the history of war is confronted with the future- the moment when the deadly nature of technology is made startlingly visible.
