Monday, November 22, 2004. In trying to compare the two i found it vertually impossible for in the introduction it clearly is stated," In fact. Is not an adaptation of shakespeare in the same way as dryden and Davenant's. Does not included large chunks of the original material.a treatment of the same source story that shakespeare used." (viii) I feel that in order to compare the two i would need the original source. but, alas my mederocracy in these matters has shown its face again.

Monday, February 28, 2005. I have atemped to browse elliot and i have found that one does not sucessful browse his work. As i was reading " the love song of J. Alfred Prufrock" i bacame more and more confused. In the beginning it seemed to start off as a love song of two lovers. ". Let us go then , you and I " . In the room the women come and go Talking of Micheangelo". This phrase was repeated twice throughout this poem and I counld not understand the meaning of this phrase. Does this help imply his dea...
