A London with Victorian architecture, heritage streetscapes, a revitalized downtown, and trees. Tuesday, January 22, 2013. The original church was called the "Howlett" Church in recognition of Joseph Howlett who donated the land. In 1897, the name was changed to Sharon Church, a reference to the Plain of Sharon mentioned in the Book of Isaiah. Sharon, a fertile plain, became synonymous with all that is good, pure and holy. The building there today was built in 1912. Is this an extraordinary edifice?

Missing from Gibbons Park are the Historic Sites and Monuments Board plaque to the IJC (International Joint Commission), the dedication plaque on the foot bridge, and numerous family memorials on benches or near trees. Meanwhile, at Eldon House, a cast iron garden cherub has apparently flown away. Update, July 21 -.

Built by the Wrought Iron Bridge Company of Canton, Ohio, it was actually a kit, put together on site by Isaac Crouse. Now well past its intended life span, the bridge is still connecting Blackfriars and Ridout streets. The other idea is to make it a pedestrian bridge. I drank the brew black, and it was slightly sweet with no aftertaste, as it should be. I have not had coffee this good since having it made for me at Toronto’s Merchants of Green Coffee. This project will help make London's downtown "a world-class, vibrant core." I'm not sure about world-class, but reusing the Free Press building is a step in the right direct for many reasons:. 1 Reusing a building conserves natural resources, since it minimizes the need for new materials. If we recycle pop cans, why not buildings?
