So, before I prepare the turkey and all the trimmings, before I welcome guests to my home, and before we sit down to eat our Thanksgiving dinner and enjoy each other’s company, I thought I should at least take time out to whisper a prayer of thanks for God’s many blessings. Lord, I thank you for how you kept me and my family this past year. I thank you for my husband and children and parents who are still here with me to enjoy. May your joy abound.
