Finally, I get around to blogging about our Christmas whirlwind! And, it wasn't even as much of an excursion as it usually is now that my parents finally live closer! I cannot say that enough! We have moved on to tackling the bathrooms in our renovation projects.what a process! We started with the kids/hall bath for now, and have plans for the other two hopefully in the near future. The took out the old tub and replaced with a new one, and tore out all the ugly tile surround as well as prepared the plumbing:. What a mess it was:.

First Swim in New House . The first thing we completed in our new home is the pool. And, with the weather getting a little warmer during the week earlier this week, the kids had their first swim after school on Monday! Here is the pool after we had it cleaned, work done on the system, drained, refilled and changed over to saltwater. Off To Second Grade! Our little girl headed off to second grade today.sniff, sniff! Ok, so actually that was tears of joy for mom because I was ready. Yes, indeed, I was! It snowed today . what a Texas wonder! I think we got around 2 inches or so. But, of course we had to get out in it and play while it is here! We met some friends up at the park and had a great time. Papa John's Founders Club Awards Trip - Bahamas 2012. The entire Papa John's crew arrives at the Salvation Army for. A day of fellowship and giving. With the draw of a visor, Charlie and I found ourselves on the "green team" for the day. Our job was to do some landscaping in a cove between two of the buildings in the back. The "green team" ready to get to work for the day. This area was transformed to a nice little sensory area with sand boxes, a couple of benches, new sod and my masterpiece work of art!
