Anderson Anecdotes: San Diego Spring Break March 2013
http://andersonanecdotes.blogspot.com/2013/04/san-diego-spring-break-march-2013.html
Monday, April 8, 2013. San Diego Spring Break March 2013. It's been a while since we've taken a true family vacation and this year we thought we'd take advantage of Scott being out of work and school and head to San Diego. With his sister Denise willing to put us up and Scott's folks so close (serving a mission in Anaheim) we thought San Diego would be the ideal location. We got the beds set up and everyone bunked down and we dreamed of sun and sand. Megan and Kimber were a bit leery as usual of climbing...

Anderson Anecdotes: December 2008
http://andersonanecdotes.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2008. If I'd only known . . . The beginning of February 2008 brought huge changes for our family. Scott was laid off, and we jumped into financial survival mode. Fortunately. His company offered a nice severance. Scott also spent his time helping me with the chauffeuring. House work, and other odds and ends. I was also released from the Relief Society presidency, and was made Kimber's. My planned activity was a trip to New York City with my friend Trittica. We had the trip set and...

Anderson Anecdotes: January 2013
http://andersonanecdotes.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 27, 2013. Nerf wars, modeling, slush and blood. I always get to the end of the week and am reminded of how many pictures I didn't take. Ah, family togetherness. Megan did not make the Nerf war because she was attending a photo shoot with a photographer friend of ours (Marit Welker). She spent most of the day at the shoot, but was the last to get photographed and it really didn't come together for her. She did enjoy the company during the day though. Sunday, January 20, 2013. Wednesday for...

Anderson Anecdotes: Megan's birthday, winning at Bunco, Antique Roadshow at the Welkers, and silliness at the Mortensen wedding reception.

Sunday, January 20, 2013. Megan's birthday, winning at Bunco, Antique Roadshow at the Welkers, and silliness at the Mortensen wedding reception. Wednesday for mutual the girls had a combined activity called "My Sister's Closet". They were supposed to bring clothes and accessories they were ready to get rid of to trade. Megan and Kimber each come home with a bag of clothes they liked to add to their wardrobe. The hat I chose not to go with. What a great time to be alive! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Anderson Anecdotes: December 2012
http://andersonanecdotes.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 26, 2012. It's been a crazy couple of years (2010-2012). Looking back over the last two years, we continue to find joy and contentment in our family. While life has not been without trials, struggles, disappointments, and loss, we remain true to ourselves, each other, and the Lord. We are grateful for our time in Boise, and the good associations we enjoy, and look forward with faith to the future. We thank our Heavenly Father every day for our family. Usually the phrase used to descri...

Anderson Anecdotes: Snowmobiling in McCall
http://andersonanecdotes.blogspot.com/2013/03/snowmobiling-in-mccall.html
Tuesday, March 5, 2013. The ride to McCall is always a bit of a stomach turner with its twists and turns (perfect for simulating sea sickness) and Byron wasn't feeling great by the time we got there. Scott was just really hungry. We stopped by the condo to make sure everything was in order and get the heat and water heater going, then we headed to McCall's famous Pancake House for lunch. The backseat in our Expedition is really great for cuddling, not so great for room. Walking to our machines we looked ...

Anderson Anecdotes: April 2009
http://andersonanecdotes.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 3, 2009. I'm not sure we can depend on our children in our old age, but here are some things we can depend on:. Depend on Megan and her friend Kylie to find the Depends ad in the mail and feel that they need to investigate the product further. Depend on them realizing that it is addressed to Scott. Depend on them not being able to stop laughing for a full 5 minutes. Depend on Sean being completely grossed out that they make diapers for men and women. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Anderson Anecdotes: May 2009
http://andersonanecdotes.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 17, 2009. 40 - much more than I expected! In the weeks preceding. My dreaded 40 th. Suggested getting a few friends together to go to Star Trek (which I really wanted to see). That sounded great. Scott still didn't seem like he was on board to even get that going. The weekend of my birthday was the father/son camp out. Didn't he know it was my birthday tomorrow? How could he and Sean just go and play all day when we had so much work to do? I had no idea. Scott and Trittica. For dinner and the...
