About Mrs. Worthy. I am so excited you have stopped by. My name is Jennifer Worthy. I have been a teacher at Harmony Elementary School since I started teaching 10 years ago. I currently teach first grade but I have also taught second and third grade. Just between you and me, first grade is the best! On a more personal note, I am married but I don't have any children yet. At least not the human kind. I have lots of pets! I am pictured above with my old show horse Simon who is now in Heaven!

My woodblock prints are made using water based inks applied to the block with brushes, a technique. Used in the Japanese printmaking tradition. A lot of planning and experimenting goes into making a woodblock print, and the process involves many separate steps. About Mrs. Worthy. Students should complete their weekly homework log that shows they read for a minimum of 10 minutes each night and practice the sight words for the week. The log will be due every Friday. Students will be given a point on their Dojo for returning their homework or points will be taken away if it is not returned.
