We experienced our first Queen's day shortly after our move to Holland in 2006. Mama to three sets of blue eyes. So, I discovered Azure Standard. A few years ago when I was researching sources for bulk grain to make homemade flour and bread. I've never really talked about it because you can only order once a month and the only pick up for our area is in Georgetown. However, a new pick up, for the Austin area, is being arranged. Next month, I'll be able to pick up our items at the Hobby Lobby at Lamar and 183. Super! 25lbs eco-farmed long grain rice. 20lbs organic apples, at $1/lb!

Mama to three sets of blue eyes. Corn is full of surprises…. So, anyone who has grown corn or grown up around growing corn may not think this is all that interesting. However, I think corn is the coolest plant ever and every day I go check on it there's something different going on, it's full of surprises! Today, the plants are taller than 6 feet and I noticed two of the plants have small puffs of silk.[sounds of a garden geek unabashedly geeking out with excitement]. Today was a good day. Josh did great at school today - listened, was helpful, and ate his lunch. This is a wonderful turn around after having behavior issues three times last week. (I know, Josh?
