Tuesday, January 5, 2010. I never really got to know my mother in law. In fact, in 24 years of marriage, I think I spoke to her on the phone briefly less than 10 times. Basically answering the phone and finding my wife so she could talk to her mother. She made it to our home in California once and I went to her home in Austria once. Friday, December 26, 2008. Three weeks and two days since I received the best (early) Christmas present I have ever received, I found myself celebrating the holiday without my genetic family. Once I revealed my plans to him, his initial reaction was one of the typical ones, "I thought you were going to tell me you were gay." Sunday, March 15, 2009. I spent much of the week moving the "delicate" electronics and things in the back of my van. I made a trip each day with a full load after work and by Sunday was ready to get a U-Haul and meet Mark and Charlie at the apartment to move the "big" stuff. Thank you both for all of your help!
