Thursday, April 21, 2011. This recipe comes from Kathy Gerlach. She made it at a dinner for the stake high councilors and their wives. I loved it and asked her for the recipe. After Laurie was born her daughter stopped by with a gift and this grape salad. I thought that was the sweetest thing- she remembered how much I liked it. 1/4 C orange juice. 1 8oz softened cream cheese. Stir 1 large bunch of green or red grapes. Add: 1/2 C. chopped pecans. Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Sweet and Sour Chicken. This recipe came from a Singles Ward cookbook when I was at BYU-Idaho. It is SOOO good! Dallin is one of the pickiest eaters and he loves this chicken. 4 large chicken breasts (cubed). Sweet and Sour Sauce (double to feed 6). 1 T soy sauce. 1/2 C chicken broth (may use water). Mix, pour over chicken. Bake @ 350˚ for 30 min. Serve with riced and mixed vegetables. We made this lat week. Evelyn loved it! April 17, 2008 at 4:22 PM. Sweet and Sour Chicken.
