A Daily Snapshot of 2012: April 2012
http://jenny365-2012.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
A Daily Snapshot of 2012. Monday, April 30, 2012. April 29, 2012. Without fail something goes wrong when I go on a business trip. Like a sick kid. Or this time, a sick tub. After giving Pearl and Cole baths last night, I couldn't get the drain to work. It's struggled for a long time and with a little boy who thinks it's his personal toy to beat on, we knew it was nearing the end. But did it have to completely break? And the night before I head out of town for five days? Yes, Pearl. Yes, they can. If you ...

October 22, 2012. The rains are here. Which means Mother Nature is about to turn my illusion that it's still summer upside down and inside out. 'Cause rain in October can only mean one thing. October 21, 2012. Do you think the wish came true? October 20, 2012. I had an entire Saturday to myself. One Halloween...

A Daily Snapshot of 2012: Obsessed
http://jenny365-2012.blogspot.com/2013/01/obsessed.html
A Daily Snapshot of 2012. Sunday, January 6, 2013. December 30, 2012. The only thing this child wants to wear is his Aggie football clothes. He's even given me a fairly convincing reason why I should allow him to wear his Aggie football clothes to church. And bed. And school. The kid is a true Aggie fan. Even with the ketchup stains, smudges, and dog fur. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Check out my other blogs. Lessons learned on the Eve of 2013. Watermark template. Powered by Blogger.

A daily snapshot of 2011. December 26, 2011. December 26, 2011. A few days before Christmas Jeff told me about a conversation he had with Pearl. Jeff: "Pearl, did you get a present for Mom? Jeff: "What do you think Mom would like for Christmas? Pearl: "A dinner maker.". Jeff: "What's a dinner maker? Is it like a little chef? Reference to the Disney movie Ratatouille)". Pearl: "I don't know. Something that you put her recipes in and it cooks it.". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). One out of a million.

A daily snapshot of 2011. March 28, 2011. March 28, 2011. Meet Giorgio. Cole's partner in crime at daycare. He's a hefty guy. literally, he weighs double Cole. And as a side note, his mom looks EXACTLY like my cousin Missy. Her name is even Melissa! Seriously, they could pass as twins. Double trouble those two are. Double trouble. March 27, 2011. March 26, 2011. Jeff was happy (with the rolls). I was happy. Pearl was happy. And Cole? Well, let's just say he felt a little left out. March 25, 2011. Blister...

A daily snapshot of 2011. January 3, 2012. December 28, 2011. A couple of days ago we decided to switch things up a bit. Little did we know the consequences. We went with option 3. Night one went surprisingly well. Cole was still pretty sickly and didn't put up much of a fight. We had more trouble with Pearl not wanting to be quiet. But night two and beyond? A daily snapshot of 2011: Temple Square Lights
http://jenny365-2011.blogspot.com/2012/01/temple-square-lights.html
A daily snapshot of 2011. January 3, 2012. December 30, 2011. We went to Temple Square tonight to see all the lights. The millions, no make that bazillions of lights. It doesn't matter how many times I've seen Temple Square at Christmas time, I can't help but look at all those dazzling lights with wonder and awe. How on earth do they get them strung on every single branch of one huge pine tree in particular? How long does it take to engulf downtown in lights? How many people work on this and for how long?
