Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Singapore - Indonesia - Malaysia (westcoast). After a 2 day stop over in Singapore (to go to the Zoo) we left for Indonesia. Our trip started off in Jakarta and ended up in Ubud. We made our way down through the Island of Java stopping off Pagandaran where we visited the Green Canyon (tres beautiful) and then onto Mt Bromo where Pieter got his money shot! Unfortunately the original plan to go to China and take the trans mongolian to Russia was going to be impossible as you have to apply for your Russian visa in your own country.grrrrrrrrrrr! Wednesday, August 28, 2013. February was a cold month with a lot of snow, but at least the kids can keep themselves entertained. March was Easter and finally a sign of Spring. We took the kids swimming cause it was a long winter and they needed to get out and have some fun.
