Cat~astrophe: September 2007
http://cat-astrophe82.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 12 September 2007. We wondered how Socks kept getting out, now I have photographic evidence! Sorry it's blurry :). Friday, 7 September 2007. The pot on the left has had my old cattery cat Sam's ashes in it since he died nearly a year ago. In spring it grows daffodils. The pot on the right was planted today and contains Valentino's ashes. The spot where they are is in their favourite place - right where the staff enjoy their breaks so they could always guarantee a titbit! London, United Kingdom.

Cat~astrophe: February 2008
http://cat-astrophe82.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, 16 February 2008. On wednesday I noticed my bunny, Molly, had a lump on her side so she had it removed yesterday. The vet said the lump was the size of a pingpong ball! He gave me the option of having it biopsied but as there's nothing that can be done if it was malignate I decided against it. Last night she was still very wobbly and this morning she had laboured breathing and hadn't eaten so I rushed her to the vet who said she had a cold. I didn't even know rabbits could catch a cold!

For what it's worth...: January 2008
http://maox2.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
For what it's worth. Thursday, 31 January 2008. Is the medical profession actually there to help me? I am cutting and pasting from what I posted on another forum, because it would take too long, and be too painful, for me to type this out again. I have just experienced my worst day EVER in dealing with health care professionals. First off, I saw the excellent Occupational Health doctor, who was so scared by my condition (suicidal) that she rang my GP there and then to get an appointment. He took off like...

For what it's worth...: September 2008
http://maox2.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
For what it's worth. Wednesday, 17 September 2008. I now have counselling every Thursday afternoon in Fazakerley Hospital with a lovely man called Alan Corkish. He's an interesting guy who used to teach drama at one of my old schools and then retrained as a counsellor. He's still involved in the arts to this day. Swans and swan imagery are turning up in my life over and over again. I have done a lot of reading up on swans on metaphysical websites and basically swans represent grace. Links to this post.

For what it's worth...: Sore!
http://maox2.blogspot.com/2008/10/sore.html
For what it's worth. Wednesday, 8 October 2008. I had my sterilisation operation on September 19th. It went very well, apart from waking up after the anaesthetic in such pain that even three shots of morphine did nothing for the pain. In fact, the pain was so bad that I didn't mind when the nurse suggested a Voltarol suppository for the pain, and then inserted it up my rectum after I assented to the procedure. The scar has now gone swollen and turned an interesting shade of purple. One good thing has hap...

For what it's worth...: November 2007
http://maox2.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
For what it's worth. Saturday, 24 November 2007. A Slightly Odd Day. The weather today was atrocious. The rain fell down, sideways, around and splashed up from the pavement.and it was windy. I chickened out of walking to the post office to mail off a few parcels, and used the car instead. Then I felt guilty for using the car for a journey that would only have been a ten minute walk. At least I stayed dry - ish. Whilst she was only minutes old. I wonder if I'll ever experience. Posted by Belisa Swansdowne.

For what it's worth...: October 2007
http://maox2.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
For what it's worth. Friday, 26 October 2007. I had a really horrid start to the day. My Mum was having one of her 'funny' moods.and I don't mean ha ha type funny. It was the usual 'I'm in a shit mood but I'm not telling you why because you should already be able to guess' business. She was a bitch. I realise that I am very lucky to have an employer like that. I came home feeling drained (I hadn't slept much the night before) but one look at Mum's face when I walked into the house said that I should get ...

For what it's worth...: A Painful Update
http://maox2.blogspot.com/2008/09/painful-update.html
For what it's worth. Wednesday, 17 September 2008. July 4th will probably stay etched in my memory forever. I'm going to do one of my lazy 'copy-and-paste' jobs because I certainly don't want to write this out again. This is what I posted on one of my forums:. I'd reached the point where I felt overwhelmed by everything, and just gave up on life. The next day, I wrote the follow up:. Her reply was a terse 'Well, so do I! And on the next day:. I've had enough of this. '. Thanks for your help, sis.NOT!

Cat~astrophe: December 2007
http://cat-astrophe82.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, 22 December 2007. Yesterday I was called into work on my day off and had to take Blackie to be pts. He'd not been right for the last few days and had got a lot skinnier over the past months and we decided it was time. Sadly we didn't have any other resident cats to keep Blackie company, there was a brief time we had an old girl, Iris, but she was soon adopted and didn't like him anyway. So he's been on his own the last few months. At the vets we saw a locum as our regular vet was away and she w...
