Monday, February 28, 2011. Wednesday appointment still happening . Skin and positioning are still great . that is really, good news. I'll update more after Wednesday . Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Hanging in there . My appointment with my STL ortho doctor is next Wednesday (3/2) . it cannot happen soon enough! I exercised at the gym over the weekend and actually tried jogging on the treadmill for 5 minutes. It was not long, but I just wanted to see if I could do it. I could! Sunday, February 13, 2011.

Friday, January 21, 2011. Winter Update . all is great! Just wanted to tell you that all is well and there is not a lot new to report. We had several “snow days” this week, so I only had one day with students. Next week there are five student visit days, so I need to rest up this weekend! They have been worth every penny. I wore dress boots all day twice this week. I am still so grateful for the progress I’ve made . . . . thanks to many prayers and God’s faithfulness. Hope you are staying warm and safe,.

Sunday, October 9, 2011. Sorry for the lack of posts . I missed an entire month! Life has been extra busy these days, to say the least! Foot seems to be doing okay. The little toe is up off the ground more than ever, but I'm living with it. It is only a problem with some shoes (can rub on the top of the shoe), so I am not sure it is worth trying to correct. We had one day with students last week at JA and three visit days this week. Overall I feel well and aside from the limp deal, all is great.

Sunday, July 24, 2011. Almost 4 weeks post-op . This is my last week at home and my plan is to return to work on August 1st. I have a student group at JA on August 1st, of all things! I have great staff that will work with me and if needed I will use the scooter. I'll update again after the Friday appointment . not a lot new happening on the hip front at the moment. Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Four Week Post-Op Appt. Follow-Up . I apologize for no update after my hip doctor appointment last Friday . I actually forgot, because everything went well! All is healing as planned and the PA said that the leg length is perfect. I go back for a re-check in three months, but all is on track and thankfully there we no complications.
