http://jennyhadfield.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 26, 2008. Two Races In One Day. I'm having a great summer so far. The weather has given us plenty of cool running days and I'm really getting excited about the next few weeks. I haven't run a 5K in years and I headed up to Palatine Sunday, August 17th for the Jogginforthenoggin' 5K. It will be fun to run in honor of my dad and see if my legs still know how to run fast. A fun race for a great cause for sure. If you're in the Chicago area, please join us. Holy bib numbers Batman! Sometimes i...

Tuesday, November 10, 2009. The Art of Play. Figurines and draw a map with an "X" where they were hidden. Then we would spend half the day trying to find them. We managed to find most, but my mom quickly put the kabosh on it when she noticed her collection was slowly deteriorating. Activity was always fun as a kid. We didn't exercise, we played. Well, I got the chance to play Sunday with my good friend Sallie. I dusted off my compass and did an Orienteering meet. 7:27 AM, February 12, 2010. IS VERY GOOD .

Wednesday, October 28, 2009. An Amazing Race and a Wonderful Documentary: From the Mara to the Marathon. It's been a world-wind of a week.I successfully completed my target race, the North Face 50K Challenge. One in a million. We shared a moment of silence for Mike, and kept running. So often in life we focus on the outcome, the destination, but it the journey that is chock-full of life-changing moments. Photos by a great friend and crew for the race, Sallie Stiens. Sunday, January 30, 2011. Congratulations to Scavenger Hunt for the Yaktrax Winners! It was a long, brutal hunt, and we had many daring souls who braved the elements in search of the correct answers to the Five Scavenger Hunt for the Yaktrax. Questions. A big thank you goes out to Yaktrax for developing cool gear to keep us running safely and efficiently in the snow and supporting this fun adventure. More to come folks - pleas stick around! A hearty e-high five goes to Amy Z. 25 miles or over 24 miles.

A snapshot of a Tar Heel running through a glass-half-full type of world. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. They see me rollin'. I'm quite excited today because I finished a hilly four mile run in 43 minutes! In more good news, I have my next race determined. I'm going to run the Port to Fort 6k in Baltimore when I go up to visit grad schools in April. I have some good friends running in it too, so it should be quite fun! Sunday, March 15, 2009. Getting back on my feet (literally). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A snapshot of a Tar Heel running through a glass-half-full type of world. Saturday, October 18, 2008. Baltimore Marathon Relay Race Report. I RAN 6.8 MILES WITHOUT STOPPING! In the words of one of my favorite TV characters Hiro, "YATA! Maybe someday. :) Got to the race site and it was insane! The first two miles were a blur. It was almost entirely downhill through the main section of downtown Baltimore and people lined the streets with signs and chants to cheer us on. The whole time in the beginn...Addit...

A snapshot of a Tar Heel running through a glass-half-full type of world. Sunday, October 19, 2008. A Few Pictures from Charm City. I haven't utilized the picture posting abilities of blogger yet, so I figured I would post two pictures from my Relay run. :). Six of the eight of us who ran on two different Relay Teams representing Health Care for the Homeless. I was a part of team three curls and a mustache, and the other team was three tramps and a lady. http://runningtarheel.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
A snapshot of a Tar Heel running through a glass-half-full type of world. Wednesday, September 24, 2008. I know I sorta dropped off the face of the blogging world for a week and some days. There are a few reasons for this, some which are good and some which aren't as good. The good news: I got a job, yay! I quicken my pace and practically danced when my ipod told me I had ran a 5k! Here's to being back on my game! Sunday, September 14, 2008. First 5k is done! I quickly got dressed and grabbed a bottle of...

A snapshot of a Tar Heel running through a glass-half-full type of world. Wednesday, August 27, 2008. You Think I Would Learn By Now. Saturday, August 23, 2008. I FINALLY completed w6d2 of the C25K yesterday! Also, as a side note, I promised myself a while ago that if I stuck with this running for a good couple of weeks, I would let myself buy a pair of those expensive nike running shorts that look so cool. I've typically been running in shorts from Target that are pretty similar (and much cheaper! So, a...
Hakuna Matata: I RAN 5 MILES!!!
http://runningtarheel.blogspot.com/2008/10/i-ran-5-miles.html
A snapshot of a Tar Heel running through a glass-half-full type of world. Wednesday, October 8, 2008. I RAN 5 MILES! What do you think you're doing? We are stopping this in the next five minutes, do you hear? I'm not going to lie either - when my Ipod told me 5 miles was up (in 55:03, an 11 minute mile average! So, needless to say, I'm stoked about the race on Saturday now. I think I can go a new distance PR and run the 6.8 miles straight! October 10, 2008 at 3:38 PM. October 12, 2008 at 5:19 PM. I'm a d...

http://runningtarheel.blogspot.com/2009/03/getting-back-on-my-feet-literally.html
A snapshot of a Tar Heel running through a glass-half-full type of world. Sunday, March 15, 2009. Getting back on my feet (literally). Well, after jumping back into running, it's only taken me three tries to get back up to running a full 5k. In the past week, I've ran the 5k distance three times - managing to lower my time each try. Now, I've got my 5k time right around 33 minutes (before my injury, I was closer to 35 minutes. Woohoo for the 2 minutes lower! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

A snapshot of a Tar Heel running through a glass-half-full type of world. Saturday, February 28, 2009. I know it's been quite a few months since I've posted on here! However, I have risen from the ashes of grad school applications, work, and injuries to return to running this week! Anyway, I also splurged and went to a running store and got fitted for high quality running shoes. Now, I figure I'm definitively stuck running. :). Anyway, I will try and do a better job now of keeping back up with the blog!

Insane Soul
Grande exemplo do mundo. Cometer um erro é fatal na minha vocação. Sábado, 3 de setembro de 2011.

Jenny Haddon's Blog | writer ponders romantic heroes, Georgette Heyer, Handel, and Odd Facts
Jenny Haddon's Blog. Looking for a Villain? October 29, 2009 at 10:24 am ( Romantic novels. Actually, I don’t think there is a villain in this story, certainly not Mr Rankin. He had to say something, poor chap. He went for short and funny. And Romantic Novelists Red in Tooth and Claw is number one in the Crime Writers’ Joke Book. It surfaces again and again – in Harrogate last year, at a local conference this; in print, in after dinner speeches; year after year, after year. For instance, five years after...

Saturday, December 28, 2013. First of all, I hope everyone had a joyous Christmas! We enjoyed our three wild kids at our house. Then we took them to grandma and grandpa's house to share the craziness. We love being together. I need to make a confession about my last post, Fall Cleaning. I really love to clean, but I can’t do it very often. I failed at my attempt to deep clean before the Holidays and that’s OK. But sitting in my living room enjoying time with my family was really fun. I might start by sho...
