http://ketzermusic.blogspot.com/2014/01/top-10-cds-of-2013.html
Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Top 10 CDs of 2013. Well, 2013 has come and gone, and I have one blog to show for it. This isn’t going to be some ramble through the changes I experienced in 2013, the job shifts, the waking up with a beautiful wife in my bead and then hearing one of my new step-kids yelling, “CAN I WAKE-UP NOW? 10 – Paramore – Paramore. Very well then, carry on. 9 – Patty Griffin – American Kid. 8 – Samantha Crain. 7 – Amos Lee – Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers of Song. Released on June 11, 2013;...

Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Nameless; the Beauty of Dancing as a Woman. I can't recall if I have talked about this or not, and frankly I am too lazy to search my own blog, but I have season tickets to the Dance St. Louis. Season. I have for the past three or four years. I am completely enamored with dance, the artistry and athleticism. It just amazes me. To the Joffrey Ballet, and she showed up, only for the first piece In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated. Even when moving in unison. Like moon hiding sun.

ketzer music: November 2012

Saturday, November 3, 2012. MicroPoetry: September - October (2012). Summer has ended and with the birth of autumn comes change, good change. I think that is reflected in these words. MicroPoetry: September - October (2012). Focused on sweat beads and burning lungs. Escaped into mental jewelry. Images of sunsets and you. In thick pre-dawn September sky. Hang for an eternity. Pinned to Nature's canvas. Smelling of fire and false freedom. I dreamt that you dreamt of me. Fingers stretched across empty sheets.

Sunday, June 10, 2012. I am not a fan of baseball, said sheepishly, half expecting a well placed ninja to dart me or a family member to produce the Excommunication order. I mean, I am the black sheep, I suppose it would only be fitting. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Saint Peters, MO, United States. Singer/Songwriter/Poet. Sunday, April 22, 2012. 6 String for 30 Days. Hopefully by now you are all as obsessed with TED as I am. For those that just thought I switched teams and have the hots for Ted Danson, please go check out the TED. Site I have yet to watch a video from TED that I did not get something out of. Recently my friend Sara. And a project kit Strat I bought off CraigsList for $200. The guitar has Lipsticks. What made today fun was I was laying leads on top of songs from a playlist I have on iTunes. It is alway...

Friday, May 15, 2015. A Big Boys Guide to an Unscheduled Staycation. It is a rarity that I have time off that is not scheduled down to the minute. We are either seeing family in other states or on some great adventure chasing a band that refused to come to St. Louis. But, since I am in the "use it or lose it" club with my vacation, when Death Cab for Cutie. Which I had always wanted to check out. So, I did. Next up was Burkemper's Family Restaurant. She's doing a series called Overbites. Well, it was thi...

http://www.mrsmediocrity.com/2015/08/06/closer
That's mrs. mediocrity to you. Random ramblings of an average jo. Blooming is a matter of survival. You have to do it, no matter what. It doesn’t have to be big or bold or pretty or showy, it just has to be done. Even if you’ve been trampled or blown over, even if you’re lying in the mud, even if you’re dying of thirst, even if no one will see. You don’t do it for the sun or the praise or the perfume. You don’t do it for the sky or the attention. You don’t do it for the hummingbird. Even when it hurts.

Saturday, September 1, 2012. MicroPoetry: July - August (2012). Here is my poetic recap for you. I hope you enjoy! Starring into silver seas. Hand moving from face to flames. Your fingers found my forest. Pulled me to you. In the space between transfiguration clouds and Hell’s highway. Riding waves as light rides rays. From hippocampus to mammalian brain. Watched as thoughts of you. Illuminated neural paths splintered across cerebral cortex. Like sheet lightning lights a cloud’s cold surface. The pain in...

ketzer music: #MicroPoetry November - January (2013)
http://ketzermusic.blogspot.com/2013/02/micropoetry-november-january-2013.html
Sunday, February 3, 2013. MicroPoetry November - January (2013). Let's just address that huge elephant in the room, sitting calmly in the corner noshing on nuts and sniffing the hair of pretty ladies that pass by, I am late, super late, a month late, but I just didn't feel like I had enough material from November and December to do a post. This doesn't mean I wasn't writing, just wasn't writing #MicroPoetry. In December my Friend Sarah Firebaugh. MicroPoetry: November - January (2013). Of the last time.
