The juniors held our celebration at the Korean Restaurant which is run by some of our parents. They planned the decorations, senior tributes, and a special slideshow presentation. The theme was Arabian Nights, so 2 guys dressed up like a camel and one like a Sheik. I think it was yet another opportunity to see our students as a very diverse family.

Actually, so far we've only caught 2 and have seen no further signs, but that's 2, too many. Khalid killed one with the broom and cricket bat in the bedroom a few nights ago, and then we redistributed the glue traps which have resulted in one large, white mouse's demise. She's made cookies for our group, made grilled cheese sandwiches for the adult English classes, and had her first round of the K-town krud. (She's doing better, though.) It's a blessing to have her here so she can identify with the things that have become part of my daily life. I had no idea she was there - so exciting!
