Thursday, July 31, 2014. Its the time of year when my garden is producing, the tomato plants are growing out of their cages, and the vine plants are spreading beyond the garden boxes. Along the ATV trail and in the ditches, wildflowers are plentiful. Ive taken some photos through the month of what Ive seen. I pick about a half of an ice cream bucket of peas most days lately . Sunday, November 16, 2014. Fall in the Northland. We had our first snowfall of the season this week, so while the calendar still says fall, it sure looks and feels like winter. No complaints here, though. We had a beautiful fall with nice weather and lots of colorful trees, and winter brings its own beauty. Monday, September 22, 2014. Remy had wanted to go hiking by Split Rock Lighthouse all summer, so we finally stopped one day on our way home from Duluth. It was a beautiful day with just a few clouds in the sky. The Wenonah is based in Silver Bay and gives tours along the North Shore. There is no bad view of Split Rock Lighthouse. Monday, March 30, 2015. We have another fun day ahead of us, today is MOSH! Since we arrived a little early, we headed over to the fountain and river walk! Such a pretty day! We found some sidewalk chalk art along the river too! This was under the bridge, I love the mirrors! This was on display just inside the lobby. It almost looks real! What big teeth you have. Saturday, November 8, 2014. It's the final game of the season! These kids have worked hard this season and it shows. Today's game was no different than the rest, and it's another win on the books for Team Spain, ending our season with 2 ties, 8 wins and no losses! The kids had some fun today as well, switching up their normal positions to play around a bit. By halftime though, they had all rotated back to their normal spots!
