Notes on my many knitting and other craft projects. Thursday, April 27, 2006. Speaking of scarves, I plan on staring the Child's Rainbow Scarf from. Last Minute Knitted Gifts. Soon I think I'll give it to my cousin for Christmas. I picked up the yarn during my Easter travels at Yellow Dog Knitting. What a great store! Here's the giant Rose I mentioned in my last post. Looks pretty good and close to be finished, except that there is about 12 inches of ease around the chest! Posted by Jenny at 6:01 PM.

It was made by my in-laws next door neighbor. I discovered she was a knitter when I unveiled my FIL’s birthday gift. At his party a couple of years ago. I won it in a blog contest several weeks ago. I've been reading Parikha's blog for a long time now, check it out if you've never read it. The book isn't very inspiring, but it will be good to refer to if I'm in the mood for a good basic knit. Plus you can never have too many knitting books, right?
