Who would have thought Hatcher would be going to his first day of kindergarten and look and feel so normal! Minus the black eye) We had an amazing summer of traveling and making memories. The Wheatley Roundup: December 2012
http://thewheatleyroundup.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 14, 2012. My heart is full as I sit and reflect on 2012. We have had hard years in the past, there is no doubt about it, but I have to say this one takes the cake! Hatcher did not have one surgery this year, but he has fought harder than I have ever seen him fight. With that being said, I don’t think there has been a year that we have seen so many tender mercies. The Hatcher Wheatley Professional Bull Riding benefit was definitely a highlight! Thanks to all our wonderful friends and fami...

The Wheatley Roundup: First Day of School
http://thewheatleyroundup.blogspot.com/2012/12/first-day-of-school.html
Friday, December 14, 2012. First Day of School. Frist day of Preschool and 4th Grade! December 14, 2012 at 10:10 AM. Been following Hatchers story for a few years now. He is such a cutie! We live in Northern Kentucky and our son, Isaiah, is 8 years old and has HLHS. He had an attempted Fontan in 2008 but due to his restricted septum at birth that caused lung damage, his body rejected the Fontan and he was brought out of the OR with the Glenn shunt again. Is a heart transplant not an option for Hatcher?

Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Hope is the companion of power, and mother of success; for who so hopes strongly has within him the gift of miracles. Samuel Smiles. Tuesday, May 24, 2011. I was getting Hatcher settled in bed tonight, got his cords out and went over to the sink to get his sippy cup. When I turned around he had put his own leads on and even in the right spots! You always make me laugh my little man! Rachel we are so happy you got to go home today! How sweet is this? Friday, May 20, 2011. Getting ...

Monday, August 8, 2011. If I can find one good thing about Plastic bronchitis is that it has motivated me to take pictures and get our pictures taken! I just love these family pictures . what an amazing thing to have Hatcher here with us. I think the kids are sick of seeing my camera out all the time. In fact the other day I spent all day washing windows. They looked great and boy did they need it! I was in fixing dinner when I looked up and saw Jax and Hatcher with the hose spraying all of them! Thank y...
