Jen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: Interesting Study on Pitocin
http://jens-zen.blogspot.com/2008/08/interesting-study-on-pitocin.html
Jen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. An outlet of creative (and sometimes not so creative) thinking. Friday, August 29, 2008. Interesting Study on Pitocin. Or because they seem to think the baby is getting "too big" or my favorite that I recently heard (and kills me because it is someone I am related to) "the ultrasound shows the baby is fully developed so the baby must be ready to be born". Baby's know when they are ready! As do our bodies! But I am already off on a tangent. I am mom to 1 year old...

Jen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: April 2008

Jen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. An outlet of creative (and sometimes not so creative) thinking. Monday, April 21, 2008. Luke's new swim diapers. As I have already blogged about a few times now we have been using cloth diapers rather than disposables. So now that summertime has rolled around it seems only natural to also use reusable diapers for Luke to play in the water rather than disposable swim diapers. From sitting in such a wet diaper! Links to this post. Sunday, April 20, 2008. And simul...
Jen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: Loving my Ergo
http://jens-zen.blogspot.com/2008/08/loving-my-ergo.html
Jen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. An outlet of creative (and sometimes not so creative) thinking. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Well I fell in love with my Ergo. All over again today. I finally had the chance to use the head support that you can button up if the baby falls asleep and I was excited! When he is tired or cranky he generally does much better in the Ergo. I really loved my Mei Tai. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Ergo. I even added the newborn insert on my baby registry. At Montana Diaper Store.
Jen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: Work It Out
http://jens-zen.blogspot.com/2008/09/work-it-out.html
Jen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. An outlet of creative (and sometimes not so creative) thinking. Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Well this week I have FINALLY been able to start the excercise classes with TLC Fitness. That I have been so looking forward to! Last night I went to a yoga class while Dave stayed home with Luke. This was a GREAT class and I think it will really help me prepare for a positive hypnobirthing. In addition to the yoga class TLC Fitness. Thanks again to Dr. Denise. I love ...

Here We Go: September 2008
http://thelittlemiz.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 27, 2008. Despite my unaswered questions and complications I'd definitely do it all over again. Not any time soon, but someday. I still wonder all the time. Was I in actual labor for 7 days or was something else wrong with me? The doctor didn't ever find anything wrong, but I was in terrible constant pain for 7 whole days before my water broke and it magically went away. What would have happened if I had a different doctor that was more into C-sections? Is that even possible? The whol...
Here We Go: May 2009
http://thelittlemiz.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 10, 2009. Yesterday we took a short trip to Ocala to visit my brother and his family. I can NOT believe it, but the both times we stopped on the way for a needed diaper change there was no changing table thing in the bathrooms! What is going on around here? In the past year, I have never gone into a bathroom to find the. My only option for a diaper change! I mean these places didn't even have a counter I could have used instead. What is the world coming too? Links to this post. Beyond Your Pe...
Here We Go: October 2008
http://thelittlemiz.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2008. Seems like I have no time to write these days. There has been a lot going on around here though so I'll steal from Lauren. And make a bulleted post :). Pete had surgery on his thumb today. He could be home from work healing from 1 week to 3 months! There are a lot of variables. We'll see what happens. Mason has 4 teeth. Two on top. Two on bottom. He loves to eat! He now patiently waits with his mouth wide open for each bite of baby food. Yay. Mason is moving like crazy! Pete t...
Here We Go: January 2009
http://thelittlemiz.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2009. As I close in on my one year mark as being a parent (coming up in March! To a healthy little (by little I really mean very big) baby boy, I have been reflecting on what I've learned this year. I've decided to write a few things down. Sleep is a luxury. I didn't figure this one out until several months into parenthood. I was lucky those early months. Now is a different story. a way different story. I'll save that for another post. Toys and clothes are not important. Recently a f...

Friday, August 29, 2008. Well, I couldn't really get any good pictures cause the cat is constantly on the move. He's been in the bathroom since we got home. I'm suppose to not let him run. Hahaha! He just got neutered this morning) The thing is a spaz! Oh, I think he might have a respiratory infection. He keeps sneezing and has a little nasal drippage. (Sounds a lot grosser than it is) Does anyone know if this is harmful to children? So, without further ado.Meet Zeus. Handsome lil' feller', ain't he?

Sunday, January 25, 2009. A little catching up. I've abandoned my blog for a while now. We've been really busy with all this moving commotion. Our closing was suppose to be on the 21st but got pushed back to the 27th.TUESDAY! We are so excited! January has been a very eventful month. We know a lot of people who have lost loved ones and a lot of others who have brought new life into the world. Half the time, I don't know if I'm suppose to be happy or sad. . My belly is getting quite large now. Shaving...

Monday, October 27, 2008. Here's some pictures from my birthday. It was the best Bday, ever! 160;I'll post later all about our weekend in Orlando. Brianna blowing out the candles. Momma blowing out the candles. Brianna showing off her pirate sword.Arghh! This smile is what made my birthday so great. On a more serious note. Links to this post. Thursday, October 23, 2008. Southern Mama: June 2009

Monday, June 15, 2009. Links to this post. Sunday, June 14, 2009. First of all, let me start by telling you how retarded I think due dates are when it comes to pregnancy. I never thought I would go "late" , after all Bri was 6 days early and she was my first baby. Typically a woman goes into labor earlier the more children she has. Or so that's what everyone says. Wrong! Who makes these rules? Flowing throughout my body. At first I thought it was all a hoax but everytime he messed with the needles th...

Thursday, September 18, 2008. Hanging in there. Barely. I can not even begin to describe how different this pregnancy is from when I was pregnant with Brianna. I really thought I was made for this breeding business but now I think otherwise. I feel like I am constantly on the verge of up chucking but I'm not even that lucky to get that relief. I'm nauseous 75% of the day. It sucks! I wish I had the option to sleep the whole 1st trimester off like I did last time. . I worked at a vets office for a long t...
