Going through life one recipe at a time. Tuesday, January 4, 2011. Herb rubbed pork chops. I will be very honest, I am not a fan of pork chops. My husband however likes them. So, I try to make them on occasion . Tonight I tried herb rubbed pork chops from Taste of Home. Can I just say I just love this magazine and I wish I would have subscribe before. These pork chops were very good. The herb crusting made them very tasty. 1 tsp parsley flakes. 1/8 tsp garlic powder. 2 bone in pork chops.

Going through life one recipe at a time. Tuesday, January 11, 2011. A snow/ ice storm (I use the word storm loosely being as I am from the north) hit us on Sunday night. This made yesterday a great day to bake. I always make things I like, so I decided to make something for Jay. Lemon Blossoms. These were quick and east to make. Going through life one recipe at a time. Sunday, June 19, 2011. Wow I have a blog? Yes, I have been baking and cooking. But, I have not found the time to blog. I have not made anything super exciting really. I did make a good pot roast. We are military and a move is looming, so I am cleaning out the fridge and freezer. I took a roast and two half jars of spaghetti sauce in the crock pot and let it cook for a while. It was really good. We were kind of surprised. Today: Steak, green beans and potato packets.

Tonight we had these. Roasted Brussel Sprouts. I know, ewww, brussel sprouts, but really with the right amount of salt, pepper and vinegar combines with the roasting, they are good.
