It's a blog AND a portfolio! Some layouts I did mainly in my first year. Kept having Mulan songs stuck in my head when I was working on this one. "Honor to Us All" was stuck in there for weeks! My very first layout. there's some sort of morbid joke here but I don't know what it is. This was when perspective gave me heart palpitations and nausea. Now I only get a mild headache from it. As I post this, I feel I should've drawn a caricature of Hugh Laurie to accompany Mr. Fry on my blog, but that can be for another post. I was given a fun assignment this morning, which was simply "draw a caricature of a celebrity". I chose the wonderful Stephen Fry, and got to find out that not everyone in my class is immersed in British television. 1 Draw the basic structure. 2 Rough in the features. I swear there was only one day where it was hot out. One day where I needed the AC in the windows (and they weren't at that time), and that was it. That was our summer here. Both boys spent the day shirtless (notice the size difference, 2yr and maybe 4m)! We tried to enjoy what summer we had with Daddy as well. We visited the Bounce House and a waterpark.
