The Bard's Bend: September 2011
http://eberhardkatie232.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 30, 2011. ReadySet.Compare and Contrast! So I mentioned earlier in one of my posts. That I am reading one of my favorite books again, which happens to be a retelling of Hamlet. So now that we are finished reading Hamlet and I am reaching climatic parts in my journey, that I start doing a comparison. (I'm actually quite excited about it, and don't worry it'll only be a few posts.). Edgar is a mute! The King/Hamlet Senior = Gar. Gar's brother. They have a rocky past but neither of the...

The Bard's Bend: Exeunt 232
http://eberhardkatie232.blogspot.com/2011/12/exeunt-232.html
Saturday, December 10, 2011. Shakespeare, you have been engaged! When I woke up yesterday morning, I must admit I was a little stressed out. Amy hadn't made it to class and I hadn't received the recordings of the book to send on to J.J. and Austin. BUT when I got on my computer lo and behold, there was an email with the recordings! So I quickly downloaded them and then proceeded to piece them together using Windows Movie Maker. While that was saving I went online and looked at LibriVox. I was super impre...

Not Really Erroneous: Much To Do
http://bendixsenmelanie232.blogspot.com/2012/03/much-to-do.html
Wednesday, March 28, 2012. And not wanting to do any of it. I ended up beginning Much Ado About Nothing (MAAN) while procrastinating my waking moment of getting out of bed last Saturday morning. The first act is behind me, leaving the rest of the play with high expectations. With the way it began you can tell there is a lot going to happen! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Not Really Erroneous: May 2012
http://bendixsenmelanie232.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 25, 2012. Seeing as school is out for the Summer you may be curious as to why I haven't been posting about my Shakespeare readings. The reason is that I haven't been reading Shakespeare. I know, I'm lame and all that. But I just made a summer goal to keep this blog alive and with it my love of Shakespeare (because I really do love reading Shakespeare). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Not Really Erroneous: Reminisce on Shakespeare Class
http://bendixsenmelanie232.blogspot.com/2012/08/reminisce-on-shakespeare-class.html
Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Reminisce on Shakespeare Class. Lovers of Shakespeare performance. This performance was really exciting because students like me not only wrote it but produced it and did a good job. And since I saw the whole process from beginning to end it was very satisfying to see this last performance in person. Loves Labours, a documentary. And here you have had the proof! For more info on the play you can visit their blog: Lovers of Shakespeare. Im glad to see youve got your blog still ...

Not Really Erroneous: Shakespeare and Apathy Don't Mesh
http://bendixsenmelanie232.blogspot.com/2012/08/shakespeare-and-apathy-dont-mesh.html
Monday, August 13, 2012. Shakespeare and Apathy Don't Mesh. Sadly, the Library asked for its book back. But that doesn't mean I'm done with Twelfth Night. Far from it! I intend to finish it soon and enjoy every last bit of it. This means you have good posts to look forward to. :). In the meantime an old notebook was discovered on my shelf in which I found a page titled Shakespeare and Apathy Don't Mesh. The reasons are clearly stated as follows:. Well, first a few points on apathy in general. With the ex...

Not Really Erroneous: Twelfth Night, Here I Come!
http://bendixsenmelanie232.blogspot.com/2012/06/twelfth-night-here-i-come.html
Thursday, June 21, 2012. Twelfth Night, Here I Come! I have made a plan! I want to get Twelfth Night from the library and start reading it. My scheme is, since I've read the play before, to do as I did with Hamlet. By creating artwork out of whatever strikes my fancy. You know, anything that inspires some creative art-making. I enjoyed this play the first time so I'm excited to jump back into Shakespeare and get started! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The Merchant of Venice.
