Monday, April 23, 2012. The Tulip Festival and Thanksgiving Point. Saturday afternoon we went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. The weather was amazing and Owen loved the Children's Discovery Gardens. We'd never been before, but on the weekends they have vendors with food, crafts, and other fun stuff set up. It was a zoo, but a really fun atmosphere! I never even knew this man-made waterfall existed there. Perfect place to picnic in the future. Monday, April 9, 2012. A few pics after church.

Sunday, March 25, 2012. A couple of weeks ago we spent a few days in Breckenridge, Colorado with Brett's parents and John and Christy and their kiddos. I forgot how uncomfortable sitting in a car for 7 1/2 hours is when pregnant, even at 27 weeks. But it was worth it. Owen and Wes loved playing outside and blowing the bubbles that Nana Sheri bought them. There was a hill perfect for the kids to sled down just behind the cabin we stayed at {Thank you Carlson's for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin!

Wednesday, October 3, 2012. The first week of September we headed to Colorado. First to spend a day with Craig and Sheri in Denver and then to spend time with my family, and greet Justin home from his mission! Crazy how fast two years flew by for him. Owen thought flying in a plane was so cool. He kept yelling at the pilot to "Go Faster! Miles was a peach and slept most the flight. Flying with the two of them was actually a piece of cake. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Brett competed in his first bike race earlier this month, the Tour De Donuts. The concept of the race is just crazy. The course consisted of three laps, about 7 miles each. In between the first and second laps, riders had to jump off their bikes and eat as many donuts as they could (or wanted to). Then, they'd jump back on their backs and ride again. Friday, January 4, 2013. Miles @ 6 Months Old. I guess the saying is true that if your first child is "difficult" you'll be blessed with an "easy" one the second time around. At least for us.
