Monday, April 20, 2015. We finally moved in to our new home at the end of January. Before we even finished unpacking the many boxes, we started ripping apart cupboards, floors, and anything else we didn't particularly like in the house. Saturday, February 1, 2014. We had a game night at a friend's house, yesterday, and played a hilarious game of Quelf. On one of his turns, Lane picked a card that told him to sing a love song on one knee. He grabbed my hand, knelt to the ground, and began to sing the first 'love' song that came to his mind. Yesterday, we dropped Koda off to a breeder's house (hopefully we'll have some puppies come May! We loved being back up in the higher elevations, nestled up in a mountain valley. I am such a country girl at heart! I think Koda loved it too! The kids loved meeting Koda's "Husband", named "Bishop". I think their puppies are going to be so gorgeous! Hmm, I'll bring ." Then I realized Koda wan't home today! Our big question right now is if we are going to keep a puppy from this litter . I guess we'll see!

Sunday, January 26, 2014. The Jensen family surprised us with a most wonderful Christmas present. For those who don't know Shadow really well, to say that he is ball crazy is putting it mildly. He lives only for balls and will wait for an eternity for someone to throw one. Although it wasn't on our immediate list of things to do, we decided to pull up the linoleum of our little guest bathroom and replace it with the green tile from the rest of the house. I didn't mind the green-bluish color of the tile but when it was in the majority of the house it was an eye sore. It was hard work! And slightly gross too). Monday, April 21, 2014. Student Teaching - Elementary. I loved how each class that entered the room was a different grade and I taught over 5 widely different lessons each day. I loved how the kids were so easily excited to learn new things and perform for their peers. I loved how I was always up and moving right along with the kids each day. I loved learning about the musical development of a young child and how to teach to their understanding. I loved the creativity that came along with each lesson plan.
