The Altena Family Welcome to our playground. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Each month or so a few of us friends get together for an evening at someone's house. This time it was our turn to host. Kailee and Anika were great helpers and served us our dinner. The rest of the children had a babysitter. It was a beautiful perfect evening to have dinner outside. The Altena Family Welcome to our playground. Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Sometimes I find creative papers around the house. . . This one is an instructional sheet for? We spent last weekend at Montecito Lodge in the Sequoias, which was about an hour and a half away. We played a lot of games since there was no TV or Internet. Yeah! Jonathan hung out on the bed most of the time. The highlight was the SNOW! Kailee and Anika have played in snow before, but this was a whole new adventure for Dylan and Samantha.

Here is my basic go-to Chili – it’s great and you can make it with ground beef, chicken, turkey or pork – whatever you like :). It’s also really healthy.
