Morgen schreibe ich meine letzte Prüfung und dann wird das akademische Kapitel hier in Cork geschlossen. Um Montag Mittag 12:30 fällt der Hammer. Dann fängt das Leben wieder an und das Aufräumen, Organisieren und so weiter. Meinem Stammpub werde ich wohl auch noch den ein oder anderen Besuch abstatten. Mit ERASMUS 9 Monate in Irland. Dienstag, Februar 20, 2007. Am darauf folgenden Sonntag haben Denis und ich eine Fahrradtour. Zum nahegelegenen Tierpark gemacht. Das war aber auch das erste und letzte Mal, dass ich diese Strecke mit dem Rad zurückgelegt habe. Viel zu gefährlich. Die fahren wie die Ir(r)en! Der Zoo ist auf einer kleinen Insel zwischen Cork und Cobh gelegen und bietet ein weitläufiges Areal mit verschiedensten Tieren. Übrigens: Hier blühen schon die Osterglocken! Nachdem wir bei den letzen beiden Trips in Galway und Dingle waren, stand dieses mal der Westen des County Cork an. Das Wetter war schön: Sonnig mit einzelnen Schauern, aber seht doch einfach selbst! Mit ERASMUS 9 Monate in Irland. Samstag, August 12, 2006. Das ist das Herz der Umspannanlage: Ein 350 MVA Transformator (400kV- 110kV). Der beinhaltet alleine 100t Trafoöl und die primären Isolatoren messen eine Höhe von über 4m. Na was ist das? Richtig. Das sind 3 SF6-isolierte Hochleistungsschalter. Tuesday, February 27, 2007. Vielleicht hat es schon jemand entdeckt: Ich habe neue Fotos von unserem Hüttentrip zur "Iglbu" hochgeladen! Iglbu ist eine der Hütten, die vom Unisport aus vermietet werden. Mitten. In der Pampa mit 8 Betten, einem Ofen und nem Plumsklo. Das war's dann auch schon. Nach 1,5 stündiger Busfahrt ging's zu Fuß zur Hütte, bzw. mit Skiern, was allerdings weniger. Am nächsten Tag sind Tobias, Stefan, André und ich auf den nächsten Berg raufgekrakselt.
