More of the Everyday . . . This is an attempt to keep everyone up-to-date. Training Log Day 97: 13.1 miles? Today Stefanie and I ran 5 miles. Unlike when I ran FOUR MILES. My celebration today has a little more reality in it. At 4 miles I felt like I could run 13.1. Today I realized if I don't start training, I will not be able to run the half-marathon. Plus, I am sore, I have two blisters and if I sit still for any period of time, I lose the ability to walk. Training Log Day I'll figure it out later.

Tuesday, April 28, 2009. So here are some pictures of driving in Ireland. I drove while we were in Belfast and Portrush. Once we hit Dublin we hailed the taxi's! Next time I plan to drive in another country I aim to read up on their driving laws. I wondered later why the rental car company didn't have some booklet "Top 10 things to know before driving in Ireland" or something like that. The scenery was beautiful along the way. Maybe next time(if there is one)! The rock wall on the right side was typical.

Monday, June 23, 2008. We went to the Pleasant Grove rodeo this week. What great fun! The strawberries and creme were fabulous! For their special entertainment they had free-style motor cross(FMX) riders. they were fantastic. Bodiann and Bradon were fasinated, Barratt loved it and Rebecca, Alayna and I were scared. Bodiann and Bradon enjoyed the mutton bustin'. The wild cow milking was quite entertaining again this year. Thursday, June 12, 2008. DANCE, DANCE, DANCE. Thanks Aunt Jill for doing my hair!

Saturday, August 15, 2009. I lost one of the most precious jems in my life today. My mother passed away this afternoon. I don't really know where to start or what I want to say but I know this is one place I want to put a few of my thoughts and feelings. Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. She proceeded with the typical treatments surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and for a period of time she was deemed "cancer free". She was so excited to have won her fight! Saturday, January 15, 2011. So one week ago today my youngest child was baptized. It is a little sad knowing this is my last. My oldest was able to perform the baptism which made the day full of celebration! What a wonderful day! Our family was so proud of Bodiann and her choice to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bodiann is a great blessing to our family and a wonderful example. Barratt is a great example to his siblings. We love you both very much. Welcome to the club!

Sunday, December 28, 2008. This is the first dance Barratt asked a girl to! He asked her by forking her lawn. Yep, you read it right. He used forks to write his invitation in the grass!
