This was the first time we had gone camping. A tale of Two Half Marathons. Running the Ogden Marathon really tired Emily out but it didn’t put and end to her running career. Since the Ogden Marathon she has run. I know, you’re probably thinking, It’s been a whole month since Nick has posted about hiking! Return to Antelope Island.

Saturday, May 23, 2009. Hiking the Red Buttes. What a beautiful evening! The kids were happy, the weather was mild, the flowers were in bloom, and we got to spend some time as a whole family. I really have to cherish these moments, they don't come as often as I'd like. Today, we went up to the Red Butte Gardens, (never actually been inside the gardens, but they have a great trail system above them). Dogs are even allowed OFF leash. Fun With Grandpa and Grandma.
