Saturday, August 22, 2009. We celebrated when we could. Party at the pool and picnic in the park. Mia, we love you SO MUCH, and are so grateful that you have blessed our lives immensely. Thank you for being our beautiful little girl! It truly is so hard to believe she is 18 months! I too remember the day she was born I was so excited to be home and then I got sick and could only see her from a distance. But from a distance or not I was and am so grateful I got to be there for that special day!

Tuesday, August 26, 2008. This is a picture of the first time we gave Mia cereal. I wish we would have had a video camera because it was hilarious! I had some help from my family who suggested that I mix the cereal with apple juice. Sure enough she loves it and its never been a struggle to feed her anymore. I guess she just has a sweet tooth! Tuesday, August 11, 2015. This past weekend we went on a hike with my brother Keith and his wife Lindsay. We were babysitting my nieces so they came along too. It was a fun simple hike and the kids had fun, we should do more of these hikes! Kensie, Jeremy, Keith and Lindsay went up the waterfall to the cave. We stayed at the bottom of the waterfall and had a snack. Kaitlyn finally warmed up to Keith! If you ever saw her around him you would realize what a big deal this is haha. In the cave, pretty cool!

We flew to Athens and waited for 5 hours to fly to Belgrade, Serbia, where we waited for 8 hours, before we could finally fly to Dubrovnik. I think we had only slept about 8 out of the last 36 hours. We sent Savannah to the nursery and passed out. She hadn't been gone long before the nursery called and asked us to come get her (lol).
