Sunday, September 11, 2011. For my mom's 60th birthday party, she wanted to go camping with the whole family. It was kind of a miracle that we were able to throw it together so quickly, but we had an absolute blast, and nearly perfect weather (which is never the case on a McGregor camping trip). We tried to make it as special as possible for her,. Which meant decorating her tent, transporting a birthday cake, and even bring Nielsen's Frozen Custard. This picture pretty much sums it up:.

Tuesday, June 19, 2012. I was told by two very lovely girlfriends last week that my blog sucked. Yes, I know. I have been absent for a while. To be honest, I didn't think anyone was looking at it any more so I kind of slacked off for a while, and then I had a baby and all hell broke loose! Yes Your blog was sucking. So thanks for updating! My life with boys. Friday, June 10, 2011. Our sweet number four arrived June 6, 2011 at 6:01pm. Joseph Dexter Hess weighed 8lbs 8oz (over a pound more than my other children) and was 20 inches long. My life with boys. Saturday, January 8, 2011. In the morning we went to one of William's basketball games - then we went to the Clark Planetarium aka the "Buzz" museum. Samuel is the midst of a serious Toy story obsession, and this was as close as I could muster to where a space ranger would hang out. We love our little ham. He makes us giggle everyday. We have a few years yet, but maybe one day we will watch him on TV - though, it could not be more entertaining than watching these 5-8 year olds. My life with boys. Tuesday, September 6, 2011. My baby's growing up :(. Today was Samuel's first day of preschool. Like most moms, for me, this day is met with mixed feelings. Samuel is my pal. I have drug him with me on errands, appointments, mommy lunches, Christmas shopping excursions and everything in between. He makes me laugh daily - he is ham ham ham! Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Our ward had a chili cook off and trunk or treat party for the kids. The boys found some costumes around the house, and this is what we came up with. It was a cold night, so I was happy to sit in the suburban and pass out the candy while Jason took the boys around to the cars. Nothing like eating candy for a month for the Halloween season!
