Tuesday, September 30, 2014. We started celebrating on Friday by surprising Mav at school for lunch. He loved it and it was fun to eat with his little friends. On Saturday we drove down to Conway to drive go carts with Parker. Micah rode with Mav and I rode with Parks. These two are sooooo competitive! Wednesday, July 15, 2015. I had a fantastic Mother's Day! My family took me to see Avenger's 2 and then to Nima's Pizza. We all wore our superhero shirts and accessories. I love that we're all in shorts and Cole is wearing a coat to sneak in candy. Nothin' to see here people! I love that they dress alike. For Sunday dinner these guys dressed up and served me! Friday, December 12, 2014. Thanksgiving weekend is the BEST! Being around family and friends, eating well, and watching football are some of our favorite things. It all started with a kindergarten party. I love volunteering in Cole's class. Kindergartners are so much fun! I'm particularly fond of this one. The McCabes are the BEST! Wednesday, October 29, 2014. So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, adieu. Nash left for the Missionary Training Center today! Here are all the young men with Micah and the missionaries right after church on Sunday. They sang, "Called to Serve" as a special musical number. Rocko, Graham, Nash, and Micah all spoke too. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. When I was in Utah for Women's Conference Micah sent me this picture. You can then imagine that we were slightly surprised when we got another note last week telling us that Cole had received the Golden Rule award! He is one of only 4 boys in his entire grade to receive this award. What? Cole was one proud little boy! Micah was able to come over and meet us at Pizza Hut. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. And the award goes to. Micah and I have seriously amazing children! Don't believe me, ask their teachers. Here's Rocko with his end-of-the-year smarty pants award. Then on top of that he received the student-of-the-month award! They said some really great stuff about him and we got to go to Pizza Inn. I love being Rocko's mom! Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Take me to Church. I asked Rocko how he thought the lesson was and he said it was great. I said, "Are you sure it wasn't terrible? He replied, "Mom we've had way worse." What a sweet compliment! I love these youth! I realized one Sunday that I am the only person in the branch that gets to teach all the youth under the age of 18 every Sunday. Monday, November 24, 2014. Fill up my bag with candy! Rocko was a police officer. It was easy and he's not really into Halloween all that much anymore. Charly was a glowing fairy thing. She picked out another costume that looked good in the package but when she tried it on at home she looked like a $2 hooker.
