Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Gotta rehaul the beginning (to be more about girl and dog being happy together; happy THEN dead = loss, not ball THEN dead dog =? But I'm actually starting to like it. now all I need to do is make each shot clear. Throughline = reviving the dog. 1 LOSS - dog dies. 2 DENIAL - trying to WAKE dog. 3 DESPERATION - trying to REVIVE dog. 4 ACCEPTANCE - successful revival of dog in MEMORY. 1 TOGETHER - playing ball! Can she revive the dog? 3 ALONE. - she can't. Flash test, again.

Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Finished sunday, april 18th- technically I was done my part by friday (16th), but finally put it all together with sound (done by Pierre Yves Drapeau) on sunday. happy! I'd post it, except I don't know how festivals take to nonprivate screenings. wish I knew more about these things! Here is a caricature I did of my cousin during a camping trip- The one being the original I drew on the island, and the other is a clean-up version with some shading (not too thrilled with the shading part but its on a separate layer anyway so I can remove it from the clean line if I so choose.). This is a great book with alotta nice art work. I enjoyed painting this one since it required a dry brush technique and different layers.
