Trickster Tales is a childrens book based upon four Native American folklores I illustrated and designed for my degree in 2010. The story revolves around a shape shifting coyote, a prominent symbol in Native American culture. The book received a Highly Commended award from Macmillan Children's Book Awards 2010. Since 2011 I have worked with the specialist food company Flavrbox. I was initially briefed to develop characters together with the look and feel of an animation introducing the company and its core values, with production company Boko Creative. I storyboarded the film and painted the individual stills, characters and environments. Since then I have also created illustrations for the Flavrbox website and other pieces of promotional materials.

These images were created for a collaborative exhibition title 'Safina' I organised at Assembly House, Norwich in June 2011. The theme was broad but loosely based on the idea of Noah's Ark. I created a series of illustrated pairs of animals. Gekkos - acrylic paint and Indian ink. Mr and Mrs Bear - acrylic paint, Indian ink and pencil. Puffers - acrylic paint and Indian ink.
