The musings of some guy. Life As I Know It. August 10, 2012. There is something that bothers me as a sports fan: greed. In the last decade we have witnessed work stoppages in 3 of the 4 major sports. Almost all of these are over profit sharing. If these were up and coming leagues, I can understand the big deal. May 30, 2015. I think this also has the benefit of allowing my feet to heal, and gives me a chance to change out some of my gear. May 10, 2015. May 10, 2015. I pushed myself a little bit too hard that first day. The competitive desire to be the fastest in group got the best of me. At the end of the day, I had blisters all over my feet, a bruise on my forehead from when i tripped and fell. This is when I realized I need to slow down. The hikers I took the shuttle with. May 22, 2015. May 22, 2015. Silver city to Pie Town. I left silver city today, very much enjoyed my stay in this little town. Everyone was extremely friendly. It was a 8 mile road walk from the town back to the trial. The next few days I will be in the Gila national forest. So far it is very beautiful! Trees, birds, shade, running streams.
