Chez Jeremy: TheHundreds Fortune Telling
http://jmirwin.blogspot.com/2010/01/thehundreds-fortune-telling.html
Jeremy's corner of the world. Sunday, January 03, 2010. I think Bobby Hundreds. Had a great post about 2010 expectations. I hope that the reading, homosexual culture, and privacy items come to fruition. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wisconsin, United States. View my complete profile. Chez Jeremy: 2009 Mileage
http://jmirwin.blogspot.com/2010/01/2009-mileage.html
Jeremy's corner of the world. Sunday, January 03, 2010. I finished the year with 1,956 miles logged on my bicycle - almost twice the miles logged on my motorcycle for 2009. I guess I need to start commuting by bicycle if I expect to break the 2,000 miles / year mark. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wisconsin, United States. View my complete profile. Mongolia 2006
http://jeremyinmongolia.blogspot.com/2006/09/i-arrived-in-beijing-around-11am-and.html
My foray into central and northern Mongolia from 9/11 - 9/27, 2006. Monday, September 11, 2006. The directions to the hostel seemed easy - we took the subway to Tiananmen. Square, and proceeded south. We were looking for a main street; it seemed easy. As we were walking, there were many alleyways leading into the hutongs. And pointing in a direction, coupled with showing the passersby. Square. China reminds me of Vietnam. People conduct most of their lives on the street. There are street stalls every...

Chez Jeremy: March 2009
http://jmirwin.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Jeremy's corner of the world. Monday, March 30, 2009. My oldest friends, Cait and Ryan, stopped by for our (somewhat) regular monday night dinner party. The menu included sun-dried tomato, basil, feta frittata; sauteed aspargus; and banana bread. Sunday, March 29, 2009. It's only taken me 3 months to get my photos. Together from my Kilimanjaro hike and safari. Not enough to snowboard and enough to impair travel - welcome to spring. Monday, March 23, 2009. Wednesday, March 11, 2009. Tuesday, March 10, 2009.

Mongolia 2006: October 2006
http://jeremyinmongolia.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
My foray into central and northern Mongolia from 9/11 - 9/27, 2006. Saturday, October 21, 2006. I've been back home for three weeks, although I've been travelling on business for two of those weeks. When I look back at my memories of Mongolia, I'm joyed that I had the opportunity to visit the country. When I told my friends and family where I was going, my statement was often met with questions about where Mongolia was. The second question was: why would I want to go there? Mongolia 2006
http://jeremyinmongolia.blogspot.com/2006/09/tsaagan-nuur-i-regret-not-writing-for.html
My foray into central and northern Mongolia from 9/11 - 9/27, 2006. Saturday, September 23, 2006. I regret not writing for a few days, but it has been with good reason. It's been too damned cold for me to write, let along take a shower (if one existed) or even wash my face. Night of staying with another local family was splendid - Renchen. Knew of a shaman who was living outside of Tsaagan. There was a solar panel that recharged a car battery during the day, which allowed them to have the TV. Something-o...

Mongolia 2006
http://jeremyinmongolia.blogspot.com/2006/09/kharkorin-hustai-national-park.html
My foray into central and northern Mongolia from 9/11 - 9/27, 2006. Sunday, September 24, 2006. Yesterday afternoon we arrived at Erdene. One of the largest tourist attractions in Mongolia. The monastery. Was built hundreds of years ago, but it had been demolished during the Communist purges in the 1930s. I was excited to arrive here; this was one of the top 5 things that I wanted to see in Mongolia. Our guides had informed us that we were seeing about 20% of the original content at Erdene. Camp, we head...

Chez Jeremy: August 2009
http://jmirwin.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Jeremy's corner of the world. Monday, August 10, 2009. I was out at brunch at Comet Cafe on Sunday. After eating, Ray showed me a gigantic blog of green and red on the weather radar. I jumped on my motorcycle and sped home. When I checked the radar when I arrived, I had made it home just in time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wisconsin, United States. View my complete profile. Chez Jeremy: Meg-a-cool
http://jmirwin.blogspot.com/2009/09/meg-acool.html
Jeremy's corner of the world. Monday, September 14, 2009. Meg is awesome - she sent me a growing lobster! About a week ago, I was cycling northeast along the coast of Maine with Jason and Sydney. We stopped at a pottery shop near Winter Harbor to take a break. We walked inside to see what was going on, and had also asked if we could fill our water bottles. A woman by the name of Meg was working - we chatted with her for a while about cycling, traveling, and pottery. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
