November 23, 2010. Yesterday my baby C turned 3 months old, weighing in at 16 pounds and drooling like a faucet ( cause we all know faucets drool. 160;It's pretty hard to believe I've been a mom for only 3 months. It's been the best 3 months of my life, I have to admit:) Having a baby has helped a few things bloom in my life:. I love and appreciate my hubby so much more. March 31, 2011. Today is March 31, the last day of the month! In my world that means getting the budget saved, cleared, and ready for next today's paycheck:) Tomorrow I pay bills! BTW, does anyone not do direct deposit anymore? Sadly, awfully, this month we went over our budget in many of the 9 categories. BAD US! December 10, 2010. We close on our new house in 1 week! I've already had 2 people ask me, "What, you haven't actually bought the house yet? Um, no, we haven't, we've just been talking about it non-stop! It's bank owned so from the time we put in an offer to the closing, it'll be about 1.5 months. Apparently that is common for banks? Well, it was a long fun weekend:) I'll hopefully post pictures and stories later in the week if I don't get distracted by newer, awesome(er) stuff. 2 easy things that have made my life simpler and cheaper:. Just fill your foaming soap dispenser 1/4 the way with castile soap, then fill the rest with water. VIOLA! And castile soap costs about $6-7 a bottle!
