Sightseers 6 – the Southbank at night and the Fuji x100s. These pictures are from one of my first outings with a new Fuji x100s: I was interested in seeing how the camera coped with the low light of early evening and how the flash balanced with available light. I think that it coped extremely well and resulted in some really interesting contrasts and relationships between the landscape and the photographers who were capturing the view. November 20, 2014. Sightseers 5 – Tower of London. On this occasion, I only skirted round the outside, so there may have been more of a frenzy inside, but the photographers I saw who were walking around the walls, seemed quite subdued. I took a fun sequence of a young couple who were shooting a sequence of selfies, pulling faces and posing. And the first lecture threw up some fascinating insights into Walker Evans and his relationship with the FSA’s famed and feared managing editor Roy Stryker.
