Yes, for a few weeks following we would have random accidents but we know it will take several months for her muscles to develop and strengthen to control everything. She's doing so great though! I can't take all the credit though - we had lots of help! Whether it was actual labor helping us move in, paint, plan the party, decorate, babysit - it was all appreciated GREATLY! So a big thank you to most importantly our family! Now - onto the party and lots of party pics! No sense in spending $100 on one that she just demolished anyway, right?

Friday, August 1, 2014. Whitley's 2nd Birthday Party! Whitley turned two and we had a blast throwing this birthday party for her! She loves Minnie Mouse so we decided to theme her party around all things Minnie and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We had lots of treats, fruit, and cake for all of the guests as well as a super fun bouncy house! She had so much fun and I think her favorite part was being sung to and blowing out the candle on her Minnie cake. She wanted to do it over and over again!

Tuesday, April 23, 2013. I feel like a bad mom. I realized today that I had never made a post when Whitley turned 9 months! So here I am. 5 days before Whitley turns 10 MONTHS making a post. Whitley is still army crawling and if you ask me - I don't think she will every crawl on her knees! She is perfectly content getting around this way - she even gets up on her hands and knees but never transports that way. She is the best eater - and I am so grateful for that! Friday, May 30, 2014. 13 lb 9 oz {84%}. Started to smile and it melts our hearts! Loves to be held, sleeps a 4 hour stretch at night and then 3 hours after that. Loves to be swaddled, and loves the bath! Saturday, May 17, 2014. I was excited to have a deadline, knowing that if I didn't have our son before March 7th, that we would be meeting him then. We spent the week doing lots of little things around the house to be ready for our little guy to come home. This made me excited but also a little upset....
