I try to create something everyday. Friday, September 19, 2014. Why I didn't think of that is rather embarrassing. I designed the cabin/tree/lake scene as one big scene, then saved chunks of it in different files. I printed a paper "road map" of the embroidery, taped all the multiple pages together and went about and stitched the various parts. The second shot above is how it looked before trimming. Cool! I had a yummy Black Sparking, blackberry puree/orange liquor/champagne, and Carl had his Appletini. Two each. With tip, almost $100. Welcome to New York! Monday we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the hotel restaurant, Murals. The entire wall is a 1937 mural by American illustrator Dean Cornwell. Someday I should get a picture of that! On the way there, we passed Robert Indiana's famous LOVE art install.
