Thoughts and experiences about Sitecore development, architecture and usage. Welcome to Coresighted, a blog about Sitecore written by Jan Löwgren from Malmö, Sweden. I’ve cuddled and wrestled with Sitecore since 2009-ish and I’m a certified developer on versions 6.2 and 7.0. I work at Consid. The hardest decision before launching this blog was whether the spelling should be Coresighted or Coresited. This impossible choice delayed the launch for months. Or years! Thoughts and experiences about Sitecore development, architecture and usage. May 13, 2015. May 27, 2015. Sitecore Media Request Protection gone wild. Edit: Sitecore Support has confirmed this behaviour as a bug and provided a patch that so far seems to work fine. The patch overrides the method for rendering media links from RTE fields to also include the hash value thus not firing a media request protection error anymore. The patch number is 438674 for those who need to request this from Sitecore Support.
