Help and Orders 0207 288 8860. What is En Primeur? Certainly the best vintage Bordeaux has produced since 2010. Not the quality of 2009 or 2010, similar to 2001, 2006 or 2008 (2008 with more of everything). Late flowering was followed by a poor August yet in September and October conditions were extremely good this Indian Summer saved the vintage! The wines produced have excellent ripe fruit with great freshness and balanced acidity. Wines that will drink well young but with good ageing potential.
