Monday, September 7, 2009. Posted by JAC Administator. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I grew up loving dolls. From then on, I watched my mother whenever she sewed, began making dresses for my dolls and once I outgrew that, I made dresses for other kid's dolls. My dolls are inspired by color, nature or a simple stroll through ...

Thursday, October 8, 2009. 11”x11”. The original is not available through the gallery at this time; contact artist. The photo used here is of a family gathered in front of their sod house near Comstock, Nebraska. When I think of living in a house made of earth, I shudder. How could you keep ANYthing clean? I show my pieces to my husband, Roger Naylor, for titles and when he came up with. As always, prints are available and if you are interested in a purchase please contact the gallery. For many years, I ...

Monday, September 7, 2009. Posted by JAC Administator. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I am an intuitive painter, one who paints entirely from imagination - never from photos. For me, colors, textures and forms are the most important elements in a painting, although I always feel inspired by the beauty of the landscape around me.". I continue to study with well-known artists in workshops held in Sedona, Arizona, and regard my own evolving work in painting and collage as the essence of my journey through life...

I use different crushed and powdered glasses, clear and colored rods, as well as silver and gold fuming. I have been working with glass since 2000 starting at age 18. being self-taught I learned through trial and error. I look to nature and biology for inspiration and to the medium itself.
