Friday, June 5, 2009. Last Monday a friend of mine taught me how to make these incredible linking cubes. It is called Unit Origami and I love it! I spent more time than i would like to admit making this chain of linking cubes, but I enjoyed every moment. even when I got strange looks from friends and family who happened upon me while I was building it. I don't know if it is something that I will pursue, but it was great learning something new. Each cube takes 12 smaller pieces to make it.

Maci, Bladen and Beket. Thursday, June 23, 2011. While in San Diego we also spent a day at the beach, at least part of the day. It got super windy and we were all pretty miserable after too long, so we bailed! Bladen sure loved it though, I thought he would be scared of the water and waves, but he loved it! Maci, Bladen and Beket. Friday, August 27, 2010. Bladen has learned how to give kisses! He never ceases to amaze me with his cuteness and how much he is growing and developing. I love him so much and am so thankful I get to enjoy him everyday. So apparently when the video uploaded it cut the right side off, so you cant really even see him kissing the mirror. Maci, Bladen and Beket. Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Bladen's most favorite thing to do, which he would be happy doing all day every day is CLEAN! I really hope this obsession lasts forever! Whether its the vacuum, duster, broom, wipes. It doesn't matter the form of cleaning, he wants to do it. In fact, I can not let him go out the garage door without a fight, because that is where our vacuum and broom is stored. And if he sees either and I don't let him have them, it is tantrum century! Saturday, January 31, 2009. End of Official Classes. My last two classes for the Elementary Education Program are now finished! It was brutal going all afternoon-everyday for three weeks but we all survived. Monday (Jan 26) was the last day (finals) and since then I have been trying to relax and get ready for student teaching.
