White Night – Melbourne | In Search of Style

In Search of Style. Exploring photographic styles one photo at a time. White Night – Melbourne. Last night, I (with my family and 300,000 of my friends and neighbours) descended on Melbourne’s CBD for the inaugural White Night Melbourne event. It’s an all night party celebrating the arts running from 7pm Saturday to 7am Sunday. The organisers had hoped for 100,000 people so they must have been a little blown away with the final estimates. Day 255 – A World Apart | In Search of Style
https://insearchofstyle.wordpress.com/2011/11/01/day-255-a-world-apart
In Search of Style. Exploring photographic styles one photo at a time. Day 255 – A World Apart. This is a 4 second exposure which explains the movement in the mast on the left hand boat. The long exposure smoothed out the already fairly calm waters. At this stage, I was travelling without a tripod, so I believe I balanced the camera on a cement railing post and used the timer to avoid touching the camera. Posted 01/11/2011 by Mike Moruzi. In Search of Style. Exploring photographic styles one photo at a time. Day 158 – Everything Old is New Again. Once upon a time, I had this picture of a rose. I thought it was a pretty decent picture (as flower pics go) when I shot it about seven years ago. Until yesterday, I was still pretty happy with it. That is, until I reworked it with a few select textures. Now the original. Looks flat, and boring to me. Posted 16/06/2011 by Mike Moruzi. Laquo; Day 157 – How Do You Know When You’re Done? In Search of Style. Exploring photographic styles one photo at a time. Day 240 – Against the Grain. The tracks proved most productive for me on this walk. I took this image of the tracks as they head over the High-Level Bridge which spans the North Saskatchewan river between the south side and north side of Edmonton. During the warmer months, these tracks play host to a local tourist tram that runs from the Old Strathcona Market up into the city. Posted 11/10/2011 by Mike Moruzi. 7 responses to “. My fir...
