Jer's GardenBlog: March 2008
http://jersgardenblog.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 27, 2008. My first multicrop, Garden Cress and White Hailstone Radishes. Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Swiss Chard, Rapini: Harvest and Reflections. My grow shelves were beginning to feel a little cramped. My chard was getting too tall, and I didn't have any room to raise the lights higher. Besides for this, my rapini, having been unattended for a couple of days, was also pushing its spatial limits. What to do? So what do I think about growing chard indoors under lights? On that for you.

Wild Carrot, Queen Anne's Lace. In Britain, it is commonly known as Bird's Nest. The Wild Carrot has been used as a contraceptive, s...
Jer's GardenBlog: Some Food
http://jersgardenblog.blogspot.com/2008/08/some-food.html
Sunday, August 3, 2008. As I'm on my way out the door, here are a few extra pictures I thought I would post today. This salad was almost entirely home grown, including lettuce, green onions, carrots, cucumbers, and nasturtium flowers. I found one tiny beet that I had missed in my previous beet harvest. Dwight was probably distracting me. I found the little chopped up beet bits pleasing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Snapshots: Purple Tomatillo Plant. Edibles: Ancho Grande (Poblano).

Tuesday, August 5, 2008. While you were distracted watching cats tackle babies on YouTube, Jer's GardenBlog wrapped itself up in a cocoon. The minutes flew by and a stirring began within the imaginary white shroud. Now, though Jer's Gardenblog is no more, if you like butterflies, you're certain to like Garden Nirvana. What I mean to say by all this is, update your links. Sunday, August 3, 2008. Saturday, August 2, 2008. Snapshots: Purple Tomatillo Plant. Edibles: Ancho Grande (Poblano).
