Jeremy Bassett's Corner: Listening to Falling Up
http://jerbasscorner.blogspot.com/2008/06/listening-to-falling-up.html
Listening to Falling Up. The weather today was rather interesting. I got up at about. And it was super warm and windy outside. The sky was full of dark clouds, and it rained sporadically throughout the day. I guess there were tornado warnings all over the place. Anyway, after showering I went outside in shorts and a t-shirt and just spent some time praying, reading Romans 6 and watching the squirrels. It was nice and relaxing out there. I wondered why I hadn’t prayed for anything like that recently.

Jeremy Bassett's Corner: Listening to Nada!
http://jerbasscorner.blogspot.com/2008/06/listening-to-nada.html
Well, this morning I helped Rob Tallman and Scott Knievel strip some of the wax off the dining room floor. Myself and a bunch of other students helped Drew Grateke and Shane Burgett film a video for the youth group they will be starting at New Beginnings in the fall. After that I just ate and piddled around on facebook and my blog page… wasn’t very productive. I tried to figure out how to download podcasts from The Berean Call, but that didn’t work out. Yeah, the days are just like that around here.

Camping With David and a Bizarre Injury. This weekend, my friend David and I went out and camped out on Bay Ocean Spit. I had wanted to do it for at least a year, and I am so amped that we finally did! En and painful, and it's the most bizarre thing ever. Well, we camped out for the rest of the night, and had a good time! As a result, I have a greatly increased interest in biking and backpacking trips, and I am also missing a week or so of work. Frustrated by big life changes. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Jeremy Bassett's Corner: Playing Catch-up!
http://jerbasscorner.blogspot.com/2008/06/playing-catch-up.html
Well I sure am falling behind again…. Thursday I don’t remember much about what I did. It was supposed to be my last day of work, but I didn’t end up on the schedule! I do remember that I went to a really small car show at Mander’s. And had some free food and listened to Chad James play some live music. He was pretty good! His left arm is missing just below the elbow, but he tapes a pick (literally) to the stump on his left arm, and plays left-handed. He and I were two of the few guys left here. Work wen...

Jeremy Bassett's Corner: Getting behind...
http://jerbasscorner.blogspot.com/2008/06/getting-behind.html
Well, I didn't blog last night, and now I am having a hard time remembering what I did yesterday. I started out the day mowing grass at school with Dan Dan, Keane, and Morrison. We did that from. When we went over to Rob's house for pizza. After that I don't remember what I did. I think I took a shower and went to work. After work I went back over to Rob's house to have some leftover aroz con poyo. It was really good! Today I got up at. I shaved and took a shower before going down to the dining room for ...

Jeremy Bassett's Corner: A short, yet full summer...
http://jerbasscorner.blogspot.com/2008/08/short-yet-full-summer.html
A short, yet full summer. Well I am definitely overdue this time. Our time at the apartments consisted of us doing games, songs, skits, Bible stories, and small groups with the kids. What a neat time! At the same time, it is sad, because even though Catholicism has such a dominating presence there, many of the kids had never even heard of the Bible, or Adam and Eve. I then went home for about a month, and had absolutely no work lined out. God, however, dropped more work on me than I could accept! I will ...

Jeremy Bassett's Corner: Three-day summary
http://jerbasscorner.blogspot.com/2008/06/three-day-summary.html
So, I haven’t blogged since Friday night, and a lot has happened…. Saturday I didn’t end up working, so I ran some errands and did some miscellaneous things. I had to go and get a few things at Radio Shack and I also had to go to KC’s and get some immunization records out of a tub I had put in storage. Once I got back I practiced I can’t remember what else I did, but I did play the songs for Sunday once through. I went to the Webbs house for music practice and was there until. To see newlywed Peter and.

Plus, the ability to accelerate much at all was well nigh void. 0-60mph takes almost 60 seconds. if you can imagine that. When I got home from work on Tuesday, our friend came by to say that he could have it ready for me the following evening. As could be expected, I was rather excited! Talk about perfect timing! I totally give God the credit for providing me with a vehicle. And the cool thing is that the truck has a nearly identical interior to the suburban! And it has working speakers!
