My semester in the Holy Land. June 28, 2012. It was a long hard road to get into the Jerusalem study abroad program. My nerves were barely able to handle the stress of the lottery system which decided who was accepted into the program. But here I am; I can only think that someone divine was looking out for me, knowing that this trip is what I needed in my life. I've got a lot more prep work to do;. My semester in the Holy Land. October 9, 2012. Its official- Jerusalem feels like home now. It's so great to feel a connection to the city and feel so comfortable in it! On Sunday (our Sabbath is on Saturday) we went on a field trip to Hezekiah's tunnel! The water came about to our knees, and higher in some spots. We stayed at a beach front resort called Ein Gev. Across the lake you could see the beautiful city lights of Tiberias.
